This beautiful 1990 Frers 45 "Spirit" is a stunning example of this racer/cruiser design. She's powered by a well maintained four cylinder, fresh water cooled, Yanmar diesel engine. Access to the engine is fantastic with all 4 sides easily removing to access the engine. This makes for easy maintenance and regular service. "Spirit" is a 2 stateroom configuration with 2 heads. 

Layout & Interior

"SPIRIT" accommodates six (6) in a two (2) cabin two (2) head layout. Salon settee/dinette and starboard seating can be used for additional berths. Forward is the spacious V-berth with an insert to make sleeping two (2) more comfortable. In the V-berth you will also find great storage as well as a private head. Aft is the owner's huge cabin with a centerline oversized queen and an additional head, the main salon is amidships with settees to port and starboard, entertainment center to port. The galley is to starboard with nice accommodations for extended cruising or racing. The nav station is to port with a mounted seat. The interior is in very nice condition with no signs of water damage or intrusion the finish is a satin-varnished teak with a varnished teak and holly sole. Headroom is 6'3" and the upholstery is red fabric that has been updated.

Owner's Cabin

Aft is owner's private cabin with a centerline oversized queen. Storage is found on either side of the berth; en-suite entrance to the enclosed head; privacy door. Light and ventilation are provided by a multiple opening ports.

Head

There are two (2) enclosed heads on board. One to port in the V-berth and the other aft and to port in the owner's cabin, also to be used as a day head with access from the salon. Each head has a stainless steel sink, manual flush head and hot and cold pressure hand-held shower. Storage and access is under each sink.

Main Salon

The main salon is amidships with an "L"-shaped settee to port and a straight settee to starboard. There is storage above and outboard both to port and starboard. The port side features an entertainment center with TV that conveniently stows for space savings, centerline-mounted huge opening fixed table (when both sides are folded to the open position the table reached both starboard and port settees see pictures); foot lights and security lights. There is one (1) opening overhead hatches and three (3) opening ports.

Galley

The outboard-facing walk-through galley is next aft to starboard. There is a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurized water. The ice box/storage is top-loading as is the large two door refrigeration (recently upgraded). The gimballed stainless steel three-burner propane stove has an oven and storage below for pots and pans. Storage is above and outboard in lockers. One (1) opening port

Nav Station

The sit-down aft-facing navigator's station is directly opposite to port. There is a lift-top chart table with chart storage under, electronics/instruments mounted above, opening port.

Aft Head

Aft of the nav station is the second head for the owners cabin as well as the day head with an opening port.
