The Friendship 22 has been one of the enduring favorites of Dutch series yacht building for many years and is still being produced today. Many hundreds of built examples and stable used boat prices testify to a successful concept. At first glance, it is clear that with the Friendship 22, you own a real small yacht. The hull and deck appear well-proportioned, and even at a proud 32 years, the Friendship looks modern and sporty. The sandwich construction ensures rigidity and good insulation. Additional strength is provided by the firmly laminated bulkheads and the bunk supports.

Both the large foredeck with a full-fledged anchor box and the side decks are pleasantly wide, allowing for good freedom of movement for the crew.

The handy rig stands on the structure and is equipped with angled spreaders; halyards, downhauls, and reefing lines are led to the aft structure, where they are operated via small winches and lever stops.

A large sliding hatch facilitates entry and brings light and air below deck. The fact that the Friendship 22 is a true space miracle is evident below deck. The salon presents itself bright and friendly with longitudinal berths, backrests, numerous closed lockers, and a large cabin table. The latter is attached to the mast support and can be both rotated and pushed up to the ceiling when not needed.

Under the central part of the fore cabin double berth, there is a marine toilet that can be separated from the salon thanks to the sliding door.

The Friendship 22 offered here has undergone a comprehensive refit. This included new cushions and curtains, a refurbishment of all wooden surfaces, as well as a check-up of the sails and the engine.
