A yacht of outstanding pedigree, the Marten 72' KUUJJUAQ combines performance with a spacious and functional layout. Designed by Reichel/Pugh and built by Yachting Developments in New Zealand, this fast cruiser underwent a comprehensive refit and rating optimization at Escale Technique in France in 2021/22.
Constructed with advanced materials such as carbon fiber pre-preg, Nomex, and Corecell foam, KUUJJUAQ boasts a lightweight yet robust structure. The flexi teak-laid cockpit and seating, combined with composite-finished surfaces, showcase exceptional craftsmanship. Its design leverages cutting-edge construction concepts, creating a hull, deck, and structure comparable to the ultra-light, robust standards of round-the-world racing yachts for which Marten Yachts are renowned.
Equipped with fully hydraulic deck and rig controls, KUUJJUAQ is optimized for short-handed or even single-handed sailing. Hydraulic systems, operable via remote control, enhance ease of movement across the deck. This versatility makes the yacht ideal for comfortable cruising or day sailing, as well as competitive offshore and inshore racing.
KUUJJUAQ delivers exceptional performance while maintaining a level of craftsmanship and innovation that makes it both a pleasure to race and a joy to cruise.
