The Hunter 33 is a well laid out sailing vessel with amenities found usually on larger boats. With new standing rigging, mainsail and electronics, Liberty is a nice example of this very popular model. Very well equipped and ready to cruise, this yacht offers good value on today's market.
The interior is surprisingly spacious, bright, and well ventilated with 6’ 4” headroom.
Good handholds and the rounded teak companionway steps lead one safely below. A single full-size head/shower is on starboard, across from the galley to port. The counter tops are Corian. A stainless-steel rail acts as both fiddle and handhold. The two-burner stove/oven is on port. There’s a single but deep sink. The galley is large enough to work in comfortably but enclosed enough for safe use at sea.
The main saloon has table that drops to create an additional berth. Across to starboard, a bench seat that doubles as a seat for the navigation station.
The stateroom forward is bright, spacious, and offers good stowage spaces. The aft cabin has an athwart-ship double berth that lies in the stern to starboard.
It should be noted that this is only a 33-foot sailboat, and yet it contains two private cabins, a full-service galley, a spacious central saloon area, a full-size head and shower, and a navigation station—while still offering easy engine access and room to spare for generous stowage of gear.
