Get to know the Windrush
Set sail with this beautifully maintained 1982 C&C 37, a timeless cruiser-racer from the renowned Canadian builder Cuthbertson & Cassian (C&C Yachts). Known for blending performance and comfort, the C&C 37 is a favourite among sailors for its sleek lines, agile handling, and spacious interior. Whether you are chasing regattas or planning coastal adventures, Windrush is ready to deliver.
This C&C 37 is a rare find, combining race-ready performance with cruising comfort. Its recent engine replacement and meticulous upkeep make it a turnkey option for sailors seeking a vessel that’s both a joy to sail and a cozy home on the water. Perfect for weekend getaways, long-distance cruising, or club racing.
Introduced in 1981, the C&C 37 was designed by Rob Ball, C&C’s legendary chief designer, during the company’s golden era. This 37-foot fin-keel sloop combines a slippery hull (LOA: 37’ 6”, Beam: 11’ 8”, Draft: 6’ 7”) with a balanced spade rudder for responsive performance. With a displacement of 14,600 lbs and a ballast of 7,200 lbs, it offers stability and speed, making it ideal for both racing and cruising. The C&C 37’s elegant teak interior, generous headroom (6’ 3”), and thoughtful layout—including a V-berth, saloon, nav station, galley, and aft quarter berth—provide comfort for extended voyages. Over 200 were built, cementing its status as a classic in the sailing community.
