34 Albin Family Trawler
One of the early so-called “performance trawlers”, the Albin 34 Motor Yacht manages to include most of the amenities of a much larger vessel. She’s built on a fully cored modified-V hull with a moderate 11'6"beam, and, notably, her swim platform is actually part of the hull. Below deck, the tri-cabin floorplan of the Albin 34 is arranged with the galley and dinette forward, two steps down from the salon. The U-shaped dinette converts into a double berth in the normal fashion, and the head compartment features a separate stall shower.
The aft stateroom is small but includes a double berth, a private head, and a large hanging locker. A lower helm in the salon. Overall, the interior of the Albin 34 is well arranged in spite of the limited space. Headroom is adequate, and the large cabin windows make the salon feel very open.
